EU investments in Gjakova changes for the future

The head of the European Union (EU) Office in Kosova, Tomas Szunyog, today met with the mayor of the Municipality of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini, with whom they discussed the projects financed by the EU and the help that this donor is giving to help develop this city.

After the meeting, Szunyog also visited the municipal facility under construction, where he closely saw the work being done there. Meanwhile, his visit continued by visiting businesses; a cake shop, a small business, a tailor, where the ambassador discussed the work and challenges these businesses are facing.

While explaining the purpose of the projects, Szunyog said that they will do whatever is necessary to ensure that the building of the new municipality is completed this year.

Meanwhile, he evaluated the activity of the municipality in relation to the non-majority community.

The ambassador also thanked the mayor Gjini as a good partner for EU projects.

The mayor of this municipality, Ardian Gjini, expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the EU.

He thanked the European Union for its support, emphasizing that the people of Kosovo should be grateful for the unreserved support of the EU. Gjini also mentioned the two biggest projects that are funded by the EU.

The citizens of this municipality have also expressed gratitude for the help of the European Union.
