Escobar: The US does not intend to impose models on the Association
The United States Representative for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has said that it is not their intention to impose models for the establishment of the Association of Serbian Municipalities that undermine Kosovo's sovereignty and functionality. At the end of his stay in Kosovo, Escobar reaffirmed his support for Kosovo's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. However, Escobar said that the solution to the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia should be left to the dialogue.
Asked about the Washington agreement signed in September 2020, Escobar said that the agreement have helped build trust between the parties.
