In recent days, Kosovo has marked a significant decline in the number of people infected with COVID-19. The number of deaths has also dropped significantly. This has led to increased demands for easing the anti-COVID measures. While the opposition and business representatives are demanding the removal of the curfew and the easing of other measures that continue to be in force, it is the doctors who are opposing the removal of the curfew.

The President of Federation of Healthcare Trade Unions of Kosovo, Blerim Syla, although he agrees that the measures should be eased, demands that this be done very carefully in order to avoid another wave of infection.
