The Chief of Staff of the Presidency, Blerim Vela, has stated today that the European Union should sanction the actions of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, after recent developments by local Serbs in the north. He wrote in a post on Twitter that Serbia received full support from Vladimir Putin's regime for yesterday's escalating actions in the north of Kosovo. "It is a confirmation of how Russia sees Serbia - an instrument to destabilize Kosovo, the region and the European continent. It is time for the EU to sanction Vucic's actions," he wrote.
