Clive Marshall, the recently retired former Chief Executive Officer of the UK PA Media Group, has been appointed Non-Executive President of KosovaPress News Agency, effective January 1, 2025.

Marshall brings significant value to KosovaPress at a time when the Agency is experiencing rapid growth and development. His extensive experience will provide invaluable contributions toward achieving the agency’s objectives.

The owner of KosovaPress, Skënder Krasniqi, expressed great satisfaction that Clive accepted the invitation to join KosovaPress.

“Clive has substantial experience in the global media industry, and during his term as CEO of PA Media Group, his achievements included significant transformation and growth,” said Krasniqi.

Krasniqi further noted that 2025 will be a significant year for KosovaPress, as the agency will move to its new headquarters. This transition will provide opportunities to significantly expand the company with new products. Alongside Clive, the agency will more effectively increase the quantity and quality of news for media, businesses, institutions, and NGOs at the local, regional, and global levels.

KosovaPress News Agency is part of the Balkan News Agencies network (ABNA-SE, www.abnase.com) and the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA, www.newsalliance.com), completing its cycle of global memberships in line with Kosovo’s aspirations.

In 2021, KosovaPress hosted the General Assembly of ABNA-SE for the first time in Kosovo, assuming its presidency for one year and serving on its board for three subsequent years.

In January, KosovaPress will celebrate its 26th anniversary.
