Abdixhiku highly appreciated the commitment and contribution of General Clark for the liberation of Kosovo. He said that Clark is a symbol of courage, leadership, support and unwavering commitment to justice and peace in Kosovo.
After the meeting, the head of the LDK said that the support of General Clark has been a light of hope and inspiration for the continuous efforts towards building a democratic, prosperous and peaceful Kosovo.
Abdixhiku said that this decoration recognizes the valuable support and long-term impact of Clark's efforts on our nation's path to peace and prosperity.
Meanwhile, the retired American general, Wesley Clark, expresses his surprise at the progress that, according to him, has been made in our country after the liberation of the country. He said that democracy is flourishing in Kosovo, while he said that during his visit here he remembered what our country looked like at that time.Among other things, Clark said that he hopes that the ties between Kosovo and the United States of America will strengthen even more, for which he emphasized that our country should continue to see the USA as its greatest friend.
We recall that the retired American general, Wesley Clark, led the NATO air campaign against Serbian military targets in 1999.
