Centers for Social Work are supported by the EU

The EU ambassador in Kosovo, Tomas Szunyog, visited the municipality of Shtime today to meet with the mayor Qemajl Aliu and to see closely the work of the Center for Social Work supported by the EU. Szunyog and Aliu discussed the role of municipalities in economic and social development and youth employment. They also visited the Youth Center run by the Municipality which takes care of developing their skills. According to an announcement by the EU office in Kosovo, the Center for Social Work in Shtime was renovated through the EU-funded project implemented by UNDP, designed to provide an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic and support immediate post-pandemic recovery.
