Kosovo is committed to playing a constructive role both in the Berlin Process and in the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA).

This was said at the table organized by the Commission for European Integration in cooperation with GIZ, with the topic of discussion: "Increasing regional integration: Kosovo's role in the Berlin Process and in the presidency of CEFTA".

During this conference, it was said that the current obstacles to the growth of regional integration must be resolved.

The Ambassador of the EU Office, Tomas Szunyog, said that Kosovo should work together with its neighbors, as according to him, only in this way can the potential of the region be used.

Meanwhile, the head of the Commission for European Integration, Rrezarta Krasniqi, said that Kosovo is focused on the implementation of reforms that will not only benefit the economy but will also contribute to the general prosperity of the region.

Krasniqi added that Kosovo is committed to playing a constructive role both in the Berlin Process and in the CEFA agreement.

Likewise, the deputy general director of the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), Zef Dedaj, added that CEFTA is a necessary mechanism for Kosovo.

According to the German Deputy Ambassador in Kosovo, Mathias Conrad, the countries of the Western Balkans must work and find constructive solutions for the benefit of all despite the difficult political circumstances.

Meanwhile, the acting director of CEFTA, Danijela Gaçeviq, has emphasized that when Kosovo becomes part of the EU, they should not only compete with regional companies, but also companies within the EU.
