The Central Election Commission has announced that all polling stations in the country have been opened at 07:00 and that so far voting is continuing normally. The CEC spokesman, Valmir Elezi, in addition to announcing that the polling stations were opened at 07:00 in the morning, said that the sensitive election material was also distributed on time. However, he said there have been difficulties in its distribution due to weather conditions. For election observation, the CEC has accredited 18 embassies with 146 observers; 6 international organizations and institutions with 37 observers; 1 public institution with 43 observers; 26 local non-governmental organizations with 1, 713; 23 political entities with 26 635 observers; and more than 60 local and international media with about 700 representatives.
