Besnik Boletini and Arta Berisha are elected members of the RTK Board

The Assembly of Kosovo has elected Besnik Boletini and Arta Berisha as members of the Board of Radio and Television of Kosovo. Only the government MPs participated in the vote, where Boletini received 54 votes, whereas Berisha received 51.

The other candidates did not receive the necessary votes for the third member of the board, however, it was decided that in the next session, the second round of voting between Albinot Hamiti and Albinot Maloku will be organized, since, Hamiti received 6 votes, whereal Maloku received 5. vote. The candidates who received the fewest votes were Besa Maxhuni and Driton Shaipi.

On the other hand, it was decided to repeat the competition for a member of the board from the Serbian community, since none of the candidates received the necessary votes.

In addition, the Assembly elected Visar Krasniqi, a non-prosecution member of the Kosovo Prosecution Council from civil society.
