With the motto "We march against the patriarchy that kills" this year in Kosovo the International Women's Day will be marked. The collective "We march, we do not celebrate", composed of activists of civil society organizations and students, will march today through the streets of the capital, an activity that will be supported by activists in 15 other municipalities. All this aims to return the attention of the institutions to cases of violence against women to be treated with priority. All women killed as a result of the violence will be commemorated on March 8 and justice will be sought in all cases. From "Zahir Pajaziti" square, from 12:00, activists will march in search of a life without violence and for a free and equal society. Others, who want to join the call, can place sheets on the balconies of their homes describing the fight against oppression inside and outside their homes.
