After widespread public reactions, former LDK activist Halil Geci has made changes to his statement published on the social media platform Facebook.

In the original post, Geci had said, “This is why this ‘patriot,’ who keeps mentioning Ibrahim Rugova’s name like a banana for Bajram, carried out a coup. If this were in Turkey, she would have been shot.”

However, Geci has since revised the statement, shortening it and modifying its content.

In the new version of the post, he writes:

“This is how Vjosa joined the table of betrayal – as a tool of Pronto’s coup.”

“Baton Haxhiu tells the journalist about the meeting we are talking about: ‘Do you know who arranged it?’ The journalist: ‘Who?’ Batoni: ‘ME.’ This is why this ‘patriot,’ who keeps Ibrahim Rugova’s name on her lips, on the other hand carried out a coup.”
