The descendants of two former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), who are currently on trial in The Hague, Endrit Thaci and Klestor Veseli, exercised their right to vote today.
Both voted on Sunday morning at Faik Konica school polling station in Pristina.
Klestor Veseli, accompanied by his mother and brother, did not give any statement to the media. Endrit, the son of Hashim Thaçi, was also accompanied by his mother.
Speaking to KosovaPress, he said they expect a change that must happen.
“We expect a change that must happen,” Thaci said.
Elections are being held in the country today, with citizens voting to elect the new legislature.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that the trial in The Hague against former KLA leaders is still ongoing.
