The voting process for the June 7 elections is taking place under regular conditions and without any problems, said the Chair of Kosovo’s Central Election Commission (CEC), Kreshnik Radoniqi, as reported by KosovaPress.
He said that, based on preliminary data from more than 97% of polling stations, by 11:00 a.m. a total of 162,438 voters had cast their ballots, or 8.29% out of 1,959,962 eligible voters. At the same time, in the previous parliamentary elections held on December 28, 2025, turnout at the same time was 8.27%, or 165,404 voters, based on data from around 94% of polling stations.
“Also, based on preliminary data we have received from more than 97% of polling stations, the number of citizens with the right to vote who have voted by 11:00 is 162,439 voters, or 8.29% out of 1,959,962 eligible voters. At the same time, in the elections for the Assembly of Kosovo held on December 28, 2025, according to data from around 94% of polling stations, 8.27%, or 165,404 voters, had voted,” he said.
According to him, so far there are no problems that would affect the overall conduct of the electoral process. He also said that the CEC has activated its operations room, which includes CEC officials, as well as representatives of the State Prosecutor’s Office, the Kosovo Police, and KEDS.
“We inform you that the voting process for the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is proceeding according to plan in all municipalities of the country. According to data reported by the Municipal Election Commissions, at this time voting is taking place under regular conditions and without any problems that would affect the overall conduct of the electoral process. Voting at polling stations is continuing in accordance with the established electoral procedures,” he concluded.
