Vetëvendosje MP Shqipe Mehmeti-Selimi said that anyone attempting to rewrite the history of the KLA in courtrooms should be reminded that every citizen of Kosovo is part of the KLA.
At the solemn session of the Assembly marking the 28th anniversary of the KLA Epic, she stated that the Jashari family is a symbol of Kosovo’s freedom.
“Anyone who tries to rewrite the history of the KLA and Adem Jashari, even in courtrooms, should know that our collective answer is that we are all KLA, we are all Jashar,” she said.
Mehmeti-Selimi added that the glorious liberation struggle, besides being honored, must also be protected as a value, especially when its purity is attacked.
