The bus lines of Urban Traffic and private operators have again suspended work today due to the financial blockade facing the Municipality of Prishtina.
In protest, workers of urban traffic and the public-private sector have blocked the streets of the capital with buses, which they have placed on “Agim Ramadani” and “Luan Haradinaj” streets.
They have blocked the road near the Prishtina Municipality building and behind the theater.
The workers are demanding the debt that the municipality owes them in order to pay for fuel and to pay the workers so they can resume work.
For two days now, the circulation of public transport in the capital has been halted.
The Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, has accused the Ministry of Finance of blocking the own-source revenues, while the acting minister, Hekuran Murati, has denied such claims.
