The head of the parliamentary group of Vetëvendosje, Arbërie Nagavci, said that LDK has not provided signatures for the presidential candidate, neither to her nor to Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
She again called on the opposition to take part in the session.
Nagavci said that the secret ballot voting process allows the possibility for all MPs to participate until its conclusion, and therefore, in her view, it is not unconstitutional.
The head of the LVV parliamentary group, Arbërie Nagavci, was also asked about MP Naim Bardiqi’s message, where he had said, “we will go in with karate.”
“The session was convened with 40 signatures, we were 61 MPs, meanwhile the secret ballot voting process allows the possibility for all MPs who are interested to participate until the end of the process. I consider that beyond blaming, it is important to find a solution. I do not agree with individual statements, such an approach is wrong. As a parliamentary group we have public positions that we take as a group. No MP in discussions has had such an assessment. Such language is not appropriate and does not do honor to an MP,” Nagavci said.
Meanwhile, the 10:00 session was postponed to 14:00, announced Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu, calling on the opposition to participate.
