The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti thanked Angela Merkel for her leadership in Europe and the world for 16 years as Chancellor. As for the new chancellor Olaf Scholz, Kurti says that as a social democrat expects to promote democracy in the Western Balkans.
“Today we say goodbye and thank you to Chancellor Merkel for her leadership in Europe and the World. And a heartfelt welcome to the new Chancellor, a social democrat with whom I look forward to promote democracy in the Western Balkans.”, wrote Kurti.
