The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, says that there is no room for the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities. He adds that there can be no one-ethnic entity in a multiethnic state like Kosovo. In an interview for KosovaPress, the Minister also talks about the fourth grant for municipalities, cooperation with elected mayors and the expected changes in the Law on Local Self-Government.
Despite the loss of Vetëvendosje in last year’s local elections, Krasniqi promises municipalities the implementation of the fourth grant. He says that the election results will have no impact on the implementation of this long-standing promise, but will be based only on the performance of municipalities…
