The Assembly of Kosovo will hold three sessions this week. MPs will gather on Thursday for a regular session, while on Friday two sessions will be held: a solemn session in honor of Congressman Eliot Engel, who passed away recently, and another plenary session.
This was announced by the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, after the Presidency meeting, saying that on Thursday the agenda includes several draft laws to be reviewed in the second reading, while Friday’s session will include voting on several international agreements, as well as the appointment of members of the boards of the public broadcaster RTK and the Independent Media Commission (KPM).
“We decided to hold three sessions of the Assembly. Each of them is as important as the other, considering the obligations we have toward the citizens of Kosovo. The first session will be held on April 23, Thursday, starting at 10:00. The other sessions will take place on Friday, one dedicated to Congressman Eliot Engel as a solemn session, and the other with agenda items including draft laws and international agreements. The RTK Board and the KPM Board are also on the agenda,” she said.
