In August of this year, a total of 2,516 births (both inside and outside Kosovo) were registered. Of these, 1,284 were male and 1,232 were female.
According to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS), in August 2025 there was a 6.4% decrease in the number of births compared to July 2025.
Meanwhile, during August 2025, a total of 914 deaths (both inside and outside Kosovo) were recorded. Of these, 515 were male and 399 were female. Compared to July 2025, the number of deaths increased by 4.3% in August.
KAS also reported that in August 2025, there were 1,972 marriages registered (inside and outside Kosovo), marking a 59.5% increase compared to July 2025.
During the same period, 97 divorces were registered in Kosovo, a 45.2% decrease compared to July 2025.
