Abdixhiku demands the withdrawal of the ambassador to Slovenia and a parliamentary inquiry on energy
The President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku said that the outbreak of the scandal with the ambassador in Slovenia and now its expansion in the region, is the real reason for the government's resistance to the formation of the Commission of Inquiry in the Assembly.
According to Abdixhiku, their rejection made no sense.
"Even the justification for the war in Ukraine, therefore - imagine - this investigation should not have been conducted; nor did the pretext of the legality of the signatures make sense. Only a big problem produced hopeless excuses like these. But the louder their rejection, the more necessary our insistence became. Today, the parliamentary inquiry has no alternative. This scandal, and other scandals listed in the spending of full 120 million euros and the increase of bills up to 100%, must be clarified. The energy crisis is a pyramid of mismanagement, neglect and crime. This pyramid must and will all be torn down. Our voting boycott in the Assembly does not end without the formation of the Energy Commission of Inquiry. Because there is no law, no topic and no other issue more important than this with energy. We will uncover the truth sooner or later. Until then, the immediate withdrawal of the now compromised ambassador, the formation of the Commission of Inquiry, and the dismissal of the Regulatory Board - which still rejects the Court's decision on tariffs - are the first steps in this direction," he wrote on Facebook.
