A waiter arrested for giving counterfeit money to his boss
Kosovo Police for the Gjilan region has arrested a person for the criminal offense "Counterfeiting of Money".
A press release states that the Regional Unit for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption has managed to provide relevant evidence that the suspect with initials (SH.J.) on 05.06.2022 while working as a waiter in a cafeteria of the village of Novo Brdo, at the end of the shift around 23:00 had handed over the daily earnings to the owner in the amount of 400 euros, which were suspected to be counterfeit.
Regarding the case on 06.06.2022, the economic crimes unit in Gjilan, have temporarily seized 8X50 euros = 400 euros, by order of the state prosecutor, the suspect's house was searched and then the above-mentioned suspect with the initials Sh. J. was arrested", it is said in the announcement.
