A rocket launcher is found at the border with Serbia, Elshani provides details
The Kosovo Police, during patrolling in the border area with Serbia, have come across a 64mm caliber M80 rocket launcher.
The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by the police spokesman for the Mitrovica region in the north, Veton Elshani, who announced that initially the law enforcement authorities had come across a nylon bag and later noticed that it was a rocket launcher.
“Today at around 16:00, while the police were on patrol in the border area of Zubin Potok near the village of Klecka regarding information about alternative routes for smuggling goods, they came across a black nylon bag in which there could be something suspicious. After the regional forensics arrived at the scene, we noticed that there was an M80 rocket launcher of 64mm caliber”, Elshani emphasizes for KosovaPress.
According to Elshan, so far, there are no suspects or arrests, but the area where the vehicle was found is very close to the border with Serbia.
