A peaceful rally is organized, the removal of Hasan Prishtina's name from the UP is opposed
The "Hasan Prishtina" Foundation has organized a peaceful rally to oppose the removal of the name of the National Hero Hasan Prishtina from the "Hasan Prishtina" University of Prishtina.
The director of the "Hasan Prishtina" foundation, who is also the great-grandson of Hasan Prishtina, Mehmet Prishtina, in the peaceful protest that was held today in front of the Assembly of Kosovo, he said that this bad initiative started a year ago and this has more of a political character.
Meanwhile, the representative of the Student Parliament in UP, Florend Ramusa, has opposed this initiative, saying that they joined this rally to show solidarity with the foundation.
Even the great-grandson of Isa Boletini, Gazmend Boletini, has expressed that as family members, they have seen fit for the name of Hasan Prishtina to be eternal in the University of Prishtina.
However, the Education Commission will review the Government's decision to approve the new charter of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", where the Ministry of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, and the rector of the UP Qerim Qerimi will participate.
