The Kosovo Rugby Federation (FRK) held its press conference today, where it announced the selection of the Kosovar historical team, which represent Kosovo for the first time in this sport, in international competitions. Part of the conference were the president of FRK, Ndrec Musolli, the main coach of the National Team and at the same time the secretary of FRK, Mark Barrett, the director of the federation and the second coach, Kevin Martin, the physical training coach, Lekë Tërmkolli and the president of the Committee Kosovo Olympics (KOK), Ismet Krasniqi. In September 2018 in the premises of KOK, the Kosovo Rugby Federation was officially established, and a few months later, it was officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. With this official recognition, Kosovo had the opportunity to apply to Rugby Europe, which is the organizing body of World Rugby, the largest institution of rugby leadership.
