In addition to preventing the introduction of contraband, there are cases when inmates are assisted by correctional officers themselves.During this year, the director of prisons of Kosovo emphasizes that two prisons will be closed.
While talking about the projects that will be developed this year, Dibrani says that a women's prison will be built with the highest standards, where there will also be a separate section.
The director of the KCS, Ismail Dibrani is optimistic that the Assembly will approve the agreement with the Danish state.The agreement with the Danish state foresees the transfer of 300 prisoners to Kosovo.
Dibrani says that during the past year, many projects were carried out for the professional development of the staff, the improvement of the infrastructure, but also the establishment of the Institute for the Treatment of Persons with Special Needs. He also mentions the opening of the 'only women' competition, where 50 correctional officers have been hired.
