Following the increase in the number of people infected with COVID-19, some schools in Kosovo have switched to online learning. Out of 780 schools, 27 of them switched to online learning. This was announced for KosovaPress by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MEST), Dukagjin Pupovci, who also underlined that the decisions to switch to online learning are made by the school task forces depending on the situation. He has dismissed all allegations that students in some schools are being required to get tested for COVID-19.
