The only Serbian candidate in the elections for the mayor of the Municipality of Zvecan, Sladjana Pantovic, in an interview for KosovaPress, stated that the time has come for changes after the ten-year rule of the Serbian List in this municipality. She accused Goran Rakic's party of turning the north into a North Korea where Serbs lived in terror.

Pantovic, who is a lawyer by profession, considers that the level of unemployment and welfare cases is high, while there are also accusations of nepotism. She promises to intervene immediately by restoring meritocracy as a criterion for employment in this municipality.

According to her, cooperation between Albanians and Serbs, but also other communities, is necessary and for the benefit of all.
