Two days after the election, US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Kosnett visited Vetvendosje, the party that emerged first in the February 14th snap parliamentary elections. Kosnett met on Tuesday morning with the leader of Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti, who is also the candidate for prime minister. The meeting between Kosnett and Kurti was held without the presence of the media. Even after the end Kosnett did not give a statement to the media. Meanwhile, a day after the elections, Kosentt congratulated the citizens of Kosovo on participating in the parliamentary elections, saying that they have demonstrated their commitment to democracy and a vision for the future. Konsett also said that America stands by Kosovo, hoping for cooperation with the new government.
