The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, a total of 1,642 samples taken from the HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 353 cases resulted positive. According to the institute, within 24 hours, 5 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Deaths are from the municipalities: Dragash 1 case (69 years old), Ferizaj 1 case (83 years old), Mitrovica 1 case (76 years old), Peja 1 case (78 years old), Rahovec 1 case (77 years old). The total number of positive cases is 55,851 out of 208,583 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,410. During the last 24 hours, 279 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 49,269 cases, while the number of active cases is 5,172.
