Bishop Monsignor Dodë Gjergji was the first to visit the Islamic Community of Kosovo to congratulate all Muslim believers on the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
In his speech, Monsignor Gjergji said that this month Albanians had both Easter and Bajram, and together they should live in understanding and unity.
"I am pleased to be here to congratulate Mufti Tërnava, to wish him a happy Eid holiday, and to all Muslims. This month we have all fasted because we had both the Easter and Eid holidays, so I believe that all the people are celebrating, praying and fasting and have the opportunity to live in peace, love, understanding, in harmony, in forgiveness and unity, as mufti Tërnava said in his Eid speech", declared Gjergji.
After the Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremony, the Islamic Community of Kosovo has opened its doors to welcome various guests who want to congratulate them on this important holiday for Muslims.
