The former Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha, accompanied by his wife, voted in the "Kosova" school. After voting, Berisha called on citizens to come out and vote for their future and their family. He stressed in front of the media that the voting process is moving safely towards victory, and called on Albanians to vote as he said for the great victory for Albania and Albanians. 3,588,869 persons with the right to vote in Albania, today will have the opportunity to elect the MPs who will represent their will in the next four years in the Albanian Parliament. 1841 candidates from 13 parties, coalitions and independents are running for 140 seats in the Albanian Parliament, of which 39.76% or 732 are female candidates. Electronic identification is one of the novelties of this electoral process in Albania. This will be applied throughout the country, while also prevents the possibility of double voting.
