Krasniq to Kurti: Find a solution with the unions, don't barricade yourself
The chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has asked Prime Minister Albin Kurti to find a solution with the unions for the strikes and not to be a blocker.
The opposition leader, in today's session of the Assembly, said that the head of government should not behave like Don Quixote by creating imaginary enemies.
"I’m asking you and I am telling you
that you must untie the knot that you have made yourself. Move forward by finding
solutions and not by making blockades. I understand that the demands of those
who are on strike are not part of the plans you have made. But you also know
very well that such things and situations happen, they happened to us when we
were in government, this is normal, especially when certain social categories
cannot afford the cost of living with the salaries have. Unions have
historically been your allies... Instead of focusing on the problem, you have focused
on Rrahman Jashari, by showing to him how powerful you are... Find a solution,
we will support you, but don't act like Don Quixote by fighting with windmills,
creating imaginary enemies that don't really exist", said Krasniqi.
