The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, has called the law on the regulation of drug prices good news. He said that the reason why it was not done earlier is that the PAN government did not bring any bill to the MoH.
“I wanted this law to be passed earlier, unfortunately it was not done, I wanted to deal with other problems, unfortunately I had to deal with this law. Why was it not done earlier, because in the PAN government, do you know how many laws have been processed in MoH, zero, no law in MoH has been processed during the entire PAN government. Even then, I told both the former minister and the MPs that this issue cannot be resolved with administrative instructions, only with the law, why this was not done, you should ask your ministers who were there earlier, not us”, said Vitia
