The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja has announced that by order of the State Prosecutor, in the last six 24 hours, in two separate cases, it has detained two people under the suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of “Rape”.
In the first case, the State Prosecutor has detained the suspect F.SH, under the suspicion that the he has raped a minor in the municipality of Klina.
“The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja, Department for Juveniles, today requested the defendant (F.SH) to be ordered to be detained, for the criminal offense of “Rape”. While in the second case, by order of the State Prosecutor, the suspect M.Z. was detained, under the suspicion that he had raped a minor from the municipality of Istog last month. Also, during today’s day, the State Prosecutor for the defendant M.Z., will make a request for the appointment of the measure of detention in the Basic Court of Peja. Regarding these criminal cases, the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja, in coordination with all relevant institutions, will undertake all the necessary investigative actions to shed light on all the circumstances of these criminal offenses”, the announcement states.
