The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has officially announced its candidates for the October 12 local elections. In Prishtina, LDK has re-nominated the current mayor, Përparim Rama. Likewise, in Peja, Gazmend Muhaxheri has been re-nominated, as well as Imri Ahmeti in Lipjan.
As a novelty, Arbër Ismajli is running for mayor of Gjilan Municipality, and Driton Selmanaj for mayor of Prizren Municipality.
LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku stated that the LDK candidates for the municipalities of Malisheva, Klina, Kamenica, and Kaçanik will be presented soon.
According to him, this is the LDK team that will bring victory in the October 12 local elections.
