Many residents of the villages of Deçan are continuing to seek medical treatment at the Main Family Medicine Center in this municipality. They insist that symptoms such as vomiting, fever, headache and lethargy are due to water poisoning despite the NIPHK denying that the water has been contaminated.
Kimete Dervishaj from the village of Gllogjan in Deçan is one of those affected by the poisoning. She says that in this village the number of poisoned is large. She is convinced that her health deteriorated after consuming water.
