In the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague, the Appeal session is taking place in the case against the former heads of the KLA War Veterans Association. Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj are appealing the judgment given by the court in May of this year, where, both were found guilty and sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison and a 100 euro fine. Gucati’s defense has said that there is no evidence that there are people harmed by the statements of the accused and has asked the Appeal to reduce the sentence.
