The Committee for Health and Social Welfare has voted in principle the Draft Law on the prevention and control of communicable diseases.
The AAK MP, Shemsedin Dreshaj said that this draft law leaves much to be desired and should be changed.
“I don’t know who drafted it, but as a health professional, I think I should find discrepancies between reality and what is written in this law. This law has a lot that needs to be changed,” he said.
Dreshaj did not participate in the voting of this draft law, nor did the MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Armend Zemaj, who said that this draft law has shortcomings.
“The one who has decided that with this law the anti-covid law will be repealed, he has been collecting materials. But it is very deficient. The internal matter does not speak at all. The law was made a little hastily”, he added.
