The head of the Parliamentary Group of AAK, Besnik Tahiri, has expressed concern over the high cost of living as a result of inflation and the increase in the price of food items, saying that the government has not taken any action to overcome the situation and that subsidies are only a short-term solution.
In a media conference, he said that employees in the public and private sector with current salaries have become a category of society with problems of survival.
In addition, Tahiri referred to the GAP Institute’s analysis of the budget, where out of a total of 859.2 million euros planned for capital expenditures for 2024, about 83 percent of them are continuation of projects and only 17 percent are planned for new capital projects.
