The state does not yet have official data on the damage caused to the economy by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS), which is called to publish the results of unemployment, is still silent about the decline in employment during the pandemic, but so far, the leaders of this agency have refused to talk to KosovaPress about this issue.
Members of the Assembly of Kosovo and economic experts have blamed KAS, which is within the Office of the Prime Minister, which has not yet published any report on the number of lost jobs and the number of bankrupt businesses.
