The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has started the meeting with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
The latter is on an official visit to Kosovo and this is Begaj’s first time outside Albania since he assumed the post of head of state.
At the invitation of President Osmani, Begaj will stay in Kosovo for two days, where he will also meet Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
The President of Albania will also meet the leaders of the opposition parties in Kosovo, as well as pay homage to the Jashari family cemetery and the grave of former president Ibrahim Rugova.
Begaj will also have a meeting with the commander of KFOR, the troops of the Albanian Armed Forces within KFOR in Peja, and the mayor of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj.
