Parliamentary parties are far from consensus for president

The election of a candidate for president of the country seems to be difficult to achieve for the current ruling coalition. Although, the LDK expects to find a solution through discussions beyond the ruling parties, the Vetëvendosje categorically denies the involvement in what they call bargaining for the post of head of state. While, in the PDK they say that this topic belongs only to the ruling coalition and that it has never been discussed within the party.

The head of the LDK parliamentary group, Arben Gashi, told KosovPress that if there is a broad agreement for a certain solution, they will take the right decisions, but he says that they do not give a “blank vote” to anyone.
