The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has announced that she has been personally invited by U.S. President Donald Trump to represent Kosovo on the “Peace Board” as a founding member.
Osmani said she feels “deeply honored” by the invitation, emphasizing that Kosovo will stand side by side with the United States in the mission for a safer world, KosovaPress reports.
“I am deeply honored by the personal invitation of President Trump to represent the Republic of Kosovo on the Peace Board, as a founding member, side by side with the United States in the mission for a safer world,” Osmani wrote on Facebook.
She described the initiative as historic, saying that “bold leadership does not merely speak about peace, it builds it,” adding that, in her view, this is what Trump is doing through this engagement.
President Osmani stressed that Kosovo today stands as an unwavering ally of America, recalling the role of the United States in bringing peace to the country.
“Just as America brought peace to Kosovo, today Kosovo stands as its unwavering ally to carry peace forward. History remembers those who take bold steps in building peace — and we are ready,” Osmani wrote.
