The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, today signed a memorandum of cooperation with the representative of “Columbia” University of New York. Through this memorandum, this university will support the Ministry of Economy in the implementation of the 2022-2031 energy strategy through academic research studies, including interviews and field meetings.
As it was announced, two points of focus of the research of their report will be the development of competitive schemes for the integration of renewable resources in Kosovo as well as supporting schemes for increasing energy efficiency.
The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli said that the experience and knowledge of this university on the development of the energy sector, data analysis and the law provide the greatest composition of what energy evidence-based policy-making requires.
She expressed her happiness that “Columbia” University chose Kosovo for their “Capstone” project, for which she said that they will do their best to benefit from their knowledge.
