Lutfiu: Serbia’s discrimination against Albanians in the Valley has reached the limits of racism

Serbia’s discrimination against the Albanian community in the Presheva Valley has reached the limits of racism, says the head of the Albanian National Council, Nevzad Lutfiu. He says that the life of Albanians in these three municipalities does not resemble a citizen of the region. In the interview for KosovaPress, he declares that in Bujanoc alone, Serbia is investing 5.3 million euros in Serbian schools. Such a thing is not happening even in Albanian schools, for which it is stated that they are at risk of closure.

The head of the Albanian National Council, Nevzad Lutfiu, says that every day there is a decrease in the number of students in Albanian schools, due to mass migration.

Lutfiu says that there is no full integration of Albanians in institutions, but a tendency for them to leave their jobs. The head of the Albanian National Council claims that Albanians in the three municipalities of the Valley feel at risk of receiving health services.

In the meetings with international actors during the last year, Lutfiu shows that he has presented the forms of discrimination to them with facts.
