The ruling party, Vetëvendosje Movement, has not made any proposal for the country’s president, said LDK spokesperson Besian Mustafa.
After the meeting of the LDK Parliamentary Group, he stated that in today’s meeting between Lumir Abdixhiku and Albin Kurti, no name for president was presented, KosovaPress reports.
According to him, the joint position of LDK deputies is that elections are avoidable, but a consensus on the president or a political agreement is needed.
Earlier today, it was reported that in the same meeting, Kurti had proposed Glauk Konjufca’s name to Abdixhiku for president.
