The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) have addressed accusations against the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, for arbitrary decisions that are harming the state of Kosovo. MP Anton Quni from LDK brought the case of the diplomat Viskont Jakupi, while MP Time Kadrijaj from AAK mentioned the fine of the Agency for Information and Privacy to the Ministry of Justice in the amount of 13 thousand euros after refusing to provide access to the diplomat’s expense invoices, the husband of president Osmani, Prindon Sadriu.
Deputy Quni said that there are many examples of how officials are abused by ministers or their close political staff, with pressure, blackmail, transfers and even unfair punishments. He mentioned the case of the diplomat Viscount Jakupi, who was appointed as the First Secretary of the Embassy of Kosovo in London, and then returned to Kosovo after he had mistakenly sent the address of the apartment where he was going to live, which the Embassy of Kosovo in London got him.
