Kosovo continues to face difficulties in identifying and managing all properties of social enterprises abroad. According to the data of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK), Kosovo has in its evidence, 163 properties in the countries that emerged from the former Yugoslavia, assets of social enterprises of Kosovo. The largest number of Kosovo’s assets abroad are in Serbia.
According to the PAK, there are 99 properties in Serbia, 35 in Montenegro, 15 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 8 in North Macedonia, 5 in Croatia and 1 in Slovenia.
The Government of Kosovo has not declared about the treatment of these properties and whether they will become part of the assets of the Sovereign Fund. Economic experts say that these properties should be used, and be in the interest of the country…
